**UPDATE: December 3, 2020**
As we continue to monitor the Covid-19 world we live in and work through to find the proper balance to ensure the safety of everyone attending Chapel Hill, we have laid out the plans for the next phase of the holiday season. We will be moving to One Service, beginning Sunday (December 6) at @9:30 A.M.
As announced earlier this week, we will be pausing all On-Campus Small Group Programming.
All Staff and Volunteers that are serving that day will be asked to wear a mask. Although masks are not required, we strongly encourage everyone use a mask when inside and walking around the building. We will continue with our Social Distancing Sticker System, using Yellow, Green, and Red Stickers to indicate our personal social distancing levels. Our Sanctuary Chairs will remain spaced out, and we will continue to ask that families sit together during worship. We ask that everyone continue to honor social distancing protocols recommended by the CDC; those can be found here, on our website.

Here are ways that you can help us as well, for the safety and the safety of others, you remain home and join us for worship online if you answer
“yes” to any of the following questions:

  • YOU FEEL AT ALL SICK or HAVE HAD A FEVER IN THE LAST 14 DAYS.
This includes experiencing shortness of breath, a consistent cough, flu like symptoms or feeling feverish or had a measured temperature of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days. (Note, according to the CDC, fever may be intermittent or may not be present in some people, such as those who are elderly, immunosuppressed, or taking certain medications.)

  • HAVE BEEN EXPOSED IN THE PAST 14 DAYS TO SOMEONE WITH COVID-19 OR ASKED TO QUARANTINE DUE TO EXPOSURE.
Specifically, you have been in close contact (less than 6’ apart for more than 10 minutes) with an individual who tested positive for and displayed symptoms of COVID-19. Or you have traveled internationally or to a domestic hot spot in the past 14 days.

  • ARE A  PART OF A VULNERABLE GROUP.
The CDC has outlined those that are part of the high-risk people group. Please visit their site here to see if you fall into that group.

For more information, resources and guidelines please check the CDC website for daily updates and changes.
